"Rich with meaning and memories, our favorite landscapes speak to us in many ways: joy, beauty, nostalgia, awe, even dissonance. How do composers capture the essence of the land in music? Join naturalist Dave Sutherland for a beautiful fall colors hike to sample music that invokes our sense of place, including works to be featured at future Boulder Philharmonic concerts this season. The Boulder Phil and the Boulder County Audubon Society partner to connect community members with the natural world through music. These hikes are free and open to the public."
