Colorado Symphony at Red Rocks: Jerry Garcia 80th Birthday Symphonic Celebration

"Some birthdays are just too big to wait to celebrate! With the world set to celebrate Jerry's 80th in August, we’ve decided to let the good times roll a little bit early this year. On June 29th, the Jerry Garcia 80th Birthday Symphonic Celebration will return to Red Rocks Amphitheater in Morrison, Colorado with a new cast of characters trading licks (and smiles) with the Colorado Symphony. The Garcia Family is delighted to invite Melvin Seals, Jacklyn LaBranch, Dave Schools, Tom Hamilton, and Duane Trucks to explore the Garcia songbook in a unique way with the full force of a 65-piece orchestra thundering the 'walls' of this historic venue. Join these world-class musicians as they explore and interpret the Garcia Songbook in new and wondrous ways."
