APOCALYPSE SNOW (1983, 26m)

THE MOUNTAIN GUIDE (2021, 11m)
Pete Lardy, owner of Pikes Peak Alpine School, attempts to earn one of the world’s most elite international mountain guiding certifications. In order to do this, he has to demonstrate significant guiding experience in three main disciplines; rock, alpine, and ski. With the highest levels of certification already achieved in the rock and the alpine, all Pete needs to become internationally certified is to pass the final ski exam. So, at the age of 40 years old, he starts to learn how to ski… Filmmaker: Roo Smith.

BETTER OFF DEAD (1985, 97m)
Lane Meyer (John Cusack) is a teen with a peculiar family and a bizarre fixation with his girlfriend, Beth (Amanda Wyss). When Beth dumps Lane, he decides to kill himself, making bumbling attempts at suicide. Outside of his morbid endeavors, Lane spends time with his oddball buddy, Charles (Curtis Armstrong), and befriends Monique (Diane Franklin), a visiting French student. ABOUT THE FILMMAKER Roo Smith:
Roo Smith is a commercial/documentary filmmaker and photographer based in Boulder, Colorado but travels all around the world for his filmmaking career. He has produced films above 14,000ft in the Rocky Mountain West, filmed among indigenous communities in Peru and Ecuador, directed videos with professional surfers in Costa Rica and has received notable recognition in his hometown of Orcas Island in Washington State for his work telling stories in the outdoor space. On set, he works as either a cinematographer or assistant camera operator.
