The 1950 Census

by Vickie Smejkal

The 1950 U.S. census will be released in April. Will you be ready for it? Are you in it? This program will present a brief history leading of the 1950 census and provide an overview of the questions asked. Included will be information on the other forms the census taker carried, including the infant form, which may or may not be included in the census release. The 1950 Census questions, including the housing questions, are sure to be a "blast from the past."

Aurora, CO, Family History Center Director Vickie Smejkal has been doing genealogy for over 30 years. She has additionally spent years on her Block 12 Riverside project, which focuses on Riverside Cemetery's pauper's section.

PPGS members should receive an email invitation to the Zoom meeting by the day before the meeting. If you don't receive it, check your spam folder, then message the webmaster.
