The Mayflower: 1620 to Present

by Dave Robison

What's the difference between a Pilgrim and a Puritan? There is a big difference! Why did these people risk their lives to go to a strange new world? Learn about their lifestyles, clothing, and the laws they used for self-governing. Discover the Mayflower Compact and America's first "census." Now, 400 years later, there are 35 million descendants from the original 102 passengers. Could you be one of the many descendants? Join us for an evening that will disclose all of these facts.

A Mayflower descendant, Dave Robison owns Old Bones Genealogy of New England. Over the past 20 years, he has served as president of the Western Massachusetts Genealogical Society, New England Chapter of the Association of Professional Genealogists, and Connecticut Society of Genealogists. He is currently president of the Genealogical Speakers Guild. A longtime member of the Massachusetts Society of Genealogists, Dave is serving as president of the 2023 New England Regional Genealogical Consortium's conference in Springfield, MA.
