Colorado Public Radio (CPR) is seeking a Digital Fundraising Specialist.

About the Position:

The Digital Fundraising Specialist is a key member of the fundraising team with a focus on securing digital revenue for CPR News, CPR Classical, Indie 102.3, Denverite, KRCC and podcasts. The Specialist will use the following tools to construct and execute fundraising campaigns: email marketing, social media, digital advertising, search and text. The Digital Fundraising Specialist will build, edit, proof and compose fundraising emails. They will create, build, and proof custom giving forms and they will be responsible for assisting in the design and execution of digital ad fundraising campaigns. This position will work closely with the Membership Communication Specialist to ensure campaigns are created and executed on schedule. Using Salesforce, Springboard, Google Analytics, and other tools, they will continuously monitor reports and assess the success of CPR’s digital fundraising efforts against organizational KPIs. They will use these data insights to suggest areas for process improvement or expansion in digital fundraising. This position will also pay close attention to emerging trends in digital marketing, fundraising, and advertising and make appropriate recommendations.

You are a self-proclaimed data-nerd who enjoys using and manipulating data to measure success and drive decision-making. You are a detail-oriented and deadline driven project manager who takes pride in organizing and streamlining complex systems to maximize efficiencies. You are a collaborative and inclusive team player who values input from others of varying backgrounds and experiences.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 4 - 6 years of relevant marketing or fundraising experience. 
  • Knowledge of digital marketing best practices and comfort with using digital marketing tools and tactics (particularly email marketing, digital ads, SEO, text-to-give, and organic and paid social media content and ads). 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong critical thinking and analytical skills, particularly around using data to help with decision making. 
  • A proven ability to work collaboratively, meet deadlines and prioritize requests. 
  • Previous experience using Salesforce or a similar CRM is required. 
  • Our preferred qualifications are: Experience with email client tools like Salesforce Marketing Cloud (Pardot). Experience as a Salesforce super user or administrator. Project management experience and proven innovation in digital fundraising roles. Strong knowledge of fundraising solicitation best practices and a strong comfort with writing fundraising solicitations or other external communications.

Education Equivalency

  • High School or GED degree is required. A fully relevant associates degree may replace up to 2 years experience, and a fully relevant bachelor's degree may replace up to 4 years experience. Additional vocational training may be required or preferred.

Hiring Range: Grade 15. $50,600 - $63,000
