Air Force Considers Controversial Training Flights

The Air Force is considering new low-altitude, night-time training flights over a swath of southwestern Colorado and neighboring New Mexico. Pilots from New Mexico's Cannon Air Force Base would be able to fly as low as 300 feet above the ground, in the middle of the night. But there’s opposition to the plan, with concerns about noise and pollution. Ryan Warner talks with reporter Chandra Johnson of the Taos News.
