This Black Hole Burped. Twice.

identified two of these cosmic burps from a single black hole. The older "burp" has traveled approximately 30,000 light years from the black hole, while the more recent "burp" is only 3,000 light-years away. Comerford says the two events took place just 100,000 years apart, a very short time compared to the 13.8-billion-year age of the universe.
