Budget Breakdown: Collaborative Cuts

Every public school in Denver has something called a Collaborative School Committee. It gives parents, teachers and staff a voice in how a school is run, including input on what to cut if budgets are reduced. As part of our Budget Breakdown series, Ryan Warner talks with one parent, Eliot Lewis, who serves on the collaborative committees at McKinley Thatcher Elementary and Grant Beacon Middle schools.

Lewis contacted us through our Public Insight Network. Please tell us what you think of proposed budget cuts for K-12 schools.
