An entrepreneur in Lafayette east of Boulder thinks liquefying bodies is better than cremating them. Ed Gazvoda started a company called CycledLife whose main product, the Coffin Spa, breaks down bodies through a process called “alkaline hydrolysis.” One funeral home in Ohio has used it, but the state forced the company to stop. Now there’s a legal battle. Gazvoda speaks with Ryan Warner about his approach.
