Nobel-prizewinning physicist Carl Wieman says everybody can learn to do scienceand math well but he says not enough Americans are. Wieman teaches at CU-Boulder. He’s been on a crusade to improve math andscience education. Wieman is taking that cause to Washington D.C. wherehe’s joined the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy.Wieman has a long list of duties there but, one of his priorities isto make education in science classrooms more hands on.
