The University of Colorado Cancer Center is one of only 40 comprehensive cancer centers nationwide that’s recognized by the National Cancer Institute. That means it offers diagnosis, treatment, research and education. Dr. Dan Theodorescu takes over the $140 million a year organization at a time when research funding has slowed. He talks with Sadie Babits about meeting the fundraising challenge and what sets Colorado's cancer center apart from other centers.
