Manufacturing Comes Back To Life, Slowly

Listen Now

We're going to talk about the state of manufacturing in Colorado. Nationally, manufacturing expanded last month faster than it had in more than two years. But, it’s still a ways from where it was before the Great Recession. First, host Ryan Warner speaks with Tom Bugnitz, CEO of the Colorado Association of Manufacturing & Technology. Then, Ryan talks with two manufacturers, Christy Cooke and Brian Burney. Cooke co-owns Freenotes Harmony Park in Durango, a maker of large, outdoor musical instruments. Burney is president of Oliver Manufacturing, in Rocky Ford, which makes industrial separators used in agriculture and mining.
