Metro State Prepared For Budget Cuts

Education takes the brunt of the cuts the governor proposed in his budget this week. Funding for colleges and universities would be reduced by $36 million. This comes at a time when federal stimulus money for higher education runs out. One school, Metropolitan State College of Denver, is better prepared than most to take these hits. The school’s president, Stephen Jordan, talks with Ryan Warner about why that is.
