Researchers at the University of Colorado Boulder found that in general, the more natural light we’re exposed to during the day, the better we’ll sleep at night, no matter what our internal clocks prefer. Kenneth Wright, director of CU Boulder’s Sleep and Chronobiology Laboratory, led a study testing the circadian clocks of eight people when they were going about their daily lives, and when they were camping and only exposed to natural light. He found the participants' internal clocks were synced after just one week of camping. Wright spoke with CPR's Anna Hanel.
