You probably don’t think much about the electoral college outside of election years, if you think about it at all. Thirteen-year-old Tyler Pollard, of Fort Collins, and his mom, Sherri, want to change that. They created a board game around it, called Red State/Blue State. Players chose to be either Edward Elephant or Daniel David Donkey. The board is a map of the United States, decorated with stars and stripes. Answer the accompanying trivia questions right, and you claim a state and it’s electoral votes for your party. The first player to get 270 electoral votes wins. Ryan Warner spoke with Tyler and Sherri.
