Keystone, Breckenridge and Eldora have all announced they are opening Wednesday — two days early for the Summit County resorts and a full nine days early for Eldora.

A healthy dump of snow — three feet in 72 hours in some areas — means they’ll join Wolf Creek in southern Colorado, and Arapahoe Basin and Loveland along Interstate 70, which all opened in October.

“It’s going to be a great season—c’mon up!" Brent Tregaskis, Eldora’s president and general manager, said in a press release.

It’s turned out to be a healthy early ski season so far, with four of the six resorts set to be open by Wednesday ahead of their average opening day since 2010.

The next resorts set to open are Winter Park, Copper Mountain and Vail.
