On April 16th Colorado's own The Congress released their new EP "The Loft Tapes" which includes seven covers of original songs by Marvin Gaye, Van Morrison, James Taylor and more. Lane stopped by OpenAir recently to chat about the new album with Corey during Mile High Noon.
Just in his early 20s, Colorado artist Patrick Dethlefs won the Best Teen Songwriter Award (2009) at Swallow Hill Music—one of the largest non-profit organizations in the U.S. dedicated to developing folk and acoustic music. Now he's released a new video for the song "Done & Done" that appears on his new album Fall and Rise that was out in June of 2012.
Zach and Carmine of local band ScaTTer GaTHer recently stopped by OpenAir to share some tracks from a new EP with Corey on Mile High Noon. "How Did I End Up Here?" includes four songs that demonstrate the duo's range, including the lush and raucous "Paper Bird".
