The latest OpenAir Download of the Week comes from Georiga Native, and Chillwave pioneer Ernest Greene, who records and performs as Washed Out. He's back with his sophomore album Paracosm.
Blending atmospheric and dazed vocals, lo-fi synthesizer, and hip hop beats, Washed out hasn't lost the edge as the face and voice of Chillwave. Paracosm is a light, easygoing affair, but with stronger backbone than his previous full-length thanks to some sturdier instrumentation.
