When Danielle Ate The Sandwich turned to Kickstarter to fund the making of a new album, fans responded by donating $16,236 to the cause. The total far exceeded the original $6,000 goal and frontwoman Danielle Anderson's expectations. Now the forthcoming record is complete, bringing the Fort Collins quartet back to the OpenAir studio to perform four brand new songs.
Danielle and her bandmates also spoke to Corey about the new album, which is titled "Like A King" and drops on June 5, and a new music video, which premieres on YouTube that same day. OpenAir presents the Danielle Ate The Sandwich CD release show in Denver at the Bluebird Theater on Sunday, June 10.
