John Grant's 2013 album "Pale Green Ghosts" is a perennial favorite at OpenAir, thanks to the former Czars frontman's pop hooks, gallows humor and electronica production. It had fans outside of his home state of Colorado, too: He was nominated for Best International Male Solo Artist at the 2014 BRIT awards alongside Eminem and Drake.
Grant, now living in Iceland, released his latest album "Grey Tickles, Black Pressure" this month. The single "Disappointing" is a duet with Tracey Thorn of Everything But The Girl, who serves as a delightful foil to Grant's baritone.
