Colorado Springs band Millicent last year released the "Deux" EP, which caught our attention for its sultry electronic beats and pop melodies. One of its tracks made its way onto our Colorado Music Sampler last winter.
This summer the trio -- led by singer and producer Emily Knurr -- released the new single "Haze." Though Knurr wrote the song before starting Millicent, it sounds like a natural progression for her summery R&B-influenced music. It's also the band's first self-produced single.
