Watch: ‘OpenAir Live & Local’ Returns For A 5th Season Of Exclusive Music

"OpenAir Live & Local" returns this week to Colorado Public Television (CPT12) for another 12-episode season. The program, which showcases Colorado bands in the CPR Performance Studio and at music venues across the state, will air Saturdays at 9:30 p.m.

Season 5 premieres Dec. 15 and runs through early April. OpenAir's Alisha Sweeney, Bruce Trujillo and Scott Carney will host the episodes, which include a spotlight on Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats, a holiday-themed show and footage from Levitt Pavilion Denver.

  • Dec. 15: Alisha Sweeney hosts performances from Denver dance troupe Wonderbound's production of "Aphrodite's Switchboard," featuring the music of Chimney Choir.
  • Dec. 22: Alisha Sweeney hosts holiday-themed performances from Kitty Crimes, Kissing Party and Kyle's Xmas.
  • Dec. 29: Alisha Sweeney hosts performances from Seal Eggs, Grant Sabin and Spirettes filmed on-site in Colorado Springs.
  • Jan. 5: Bruce Trujillo shares her favorite videos from GVGrace, The Milk Blossoms, The Velveteers and more.
  • Jan. 19: Alisha Sweeney hosts a spotlight episode on Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats.
  • Jan. 26: Scott Carney shares his favorite videos from Solohawk, Lillian, Wildermiss and more.
  • Feb. 2: Alisha Sweeney hosts performances from The Reminders, Neyla Pekarek, Stelth Ulvang and more.
  • Feb. 16: Bruce Trujillo hosts performances from Wonderbound's production of "Celestial Navigation" featuring the music of the Ian Cooke Band.
  • Feb. 23: Scott Carney hosts performances from SHEL, Megan Burtt and Other Black filmed at Levitt Pavilion Denver.
  • March 23: Scott Carney hosts performances from Brent Cowles, The Still Tide, The Yawpers and more.
  • March 30: Alisha Sweeney hosts performances from Los Mocochetes, iZCALLi, Strange Americans and more filmed at Your Mother's House and Levitt Pavilion Denver.
  • April 6: Bruce Trujillo hosts performances from Kerstan Wallace, Mount Orchid, The Reminders and more.
