Portland, Ore., duo Pure Bathing Culture released their sophomore album, "Pray For Rain," last week.
The new album builds upon the dream pop of the band's earlier work. Singer Sarah Versprille's vocals are more aggressive and Daniel Hindman's instrumentation cuts back on the heavy reverb that defined the group's previous work.
