Twin Peaks, ‘Walk To The One You Love’

On Twin Peaks' forthcoming third album, "Down In Heaven," the Chicago band dials back the garage rock distortion of previous records with the mixing help of John Agnello, who worked on recent albums for Kurt Vile and Hop Along.

The new single "Walk To The One You Love" is more laid-back Twin Peaks, with sunny piano and horns.

The song's 1960s rock influences are quite apparent. The band cites records like The Beatles' "White Album" and The Rolling Stones' "Beggar's Banquet" as sonic inspirations for "Down In Heaven."

Twin Peaks will perform at Denver's Larimer Lounge on June 28.
