Grandoozy is just around the corner. The long-anticipated Denver music festival makes its debut Sept. 14-16 in the city's Overland Park.

It's safe to say that each of the inaugural festival's headliners -- Kendrick Lamar, Florence + The Machine and Stevie Wonder -- are all can't-miss performers. There are plenty of other great artists filling out the three-day event's lineup, several of which we've hosted in the CPR Performance Studio.

Below, watch and read about where to see performances from six of our favorite Grandoozy artists playing the festivals three stages, nicknamed Rock, Paper and Scissors. Also, go deeper into the festival lineup with our Spotify playlist.

Tennis

Musical spouses Alaina Moore and Patrick Riley last year released two standout indie pop records, "Yours Conditionally" and "We Can Die Happy." The Denver band lists Grandoozy as the first stop of its "Solo In Stereo" tour, during which the duo will perform without any accompanying musicians.

Tennis performs Friday at 4 p.m. on the Paper stage.

Jade Bird

Jade Bird makes catchy blues-folk that addresses heartbreak with humor and wisdom. The British singer-songwriter is one of NPR Music's selections for its Slingshot program, which highlights standout up-and-coming artists.

Jade Bird performs Friday at 3:15 p.m. on the Scissors stage.

Dragondeer

Dragondeer has long been a local favorite in Denver for its potent blues-rock. The quartet released its debut album, "If You Got The Blues," earlier this year. The band will follow up its Grandoozy set with a two-night stint at Globe Hall next month, where it will take on the music of David Bowie and the Grateful Dead.

Dragondeer performs Sunday at 2 p.m. on the Paper stage.

Gasoline Lollipops

The Boulder band has released two albums of emotionally-charged country-rock that document frontman Clay Rose's path to fatherhood and sobriety. But Rose's next project might be his most ambitious: he told us earlier this year that he's working on a collaborative album with his mother.

Gasoline Lollipops perform Saturday at 2 p.m. on the Scissors stage.

Flaural

Flaural has made a name for itself in the Denver music scene with both its own shows and opening gigs for acts like Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats, Spoon and The New Pornographers. The quartet's psychedelic indie rock should serve as a fine kickoff for the first day of Grandoozy.

Flaural performs Friday at 2 p.m. on the Scissors stage.

Head For The Hills

Long-running bluegrass quartet Head For The Hills has frequented many Colorado music festivals in its 15 years, and now it can add the first-ever Grandoozy to that list. The Fort Collins band's latest album, 2017's "Potions And Poisons," is its first with mandolinist Sam Parks.

Head For The Hills performs Saturday at 2 p.m. on the Rock stage.
