New Broadcast Schedule For CPR News

Colorado Public Radio has made changes to the CPR News broadcast schedule as of Aug. 1, 2016.

In an effort to continually provide CPR listeners with in-depth and insightful reporting and build capacity to produce even more Colorado-focused news—including newscasts, feature stories and long-form reporting—we’re making “Here & Now” accessible five days a week. This change will also impact the current schedule around “Fresh Air,” “Science Friday” and “The World.”

Expanding access to “Here & Now” will give CPR News more flexibility and responsiveness to cover major stories that develop in the middle of the day, and also prepare for eventual growth of production and curation of more Colorado news, including “Colorado Matters.”

“Here & Now” now airs Monday – Thursday from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. with a two-hour version of the program airing Fridays at 11 a.m. To accommodate this change, “Fresh Air” and “Science Friday” will air at new times (see below for details). “The World” will no longer be broadcast on CPR but you can continue to stream it online.
