The measure is named for Claire Davis, who was killed at Arapahoe High School in 2013. She was shot by a fellow student who then killed himself.

Gov. John Hickenlooper signed a bill into law that makes a fourth DUI a felony punishable by up to six years in prison and a fine of as much as $500,000.

Colorado has one of the easiest processes for residents to amend the state constitution.
The bill directs state health authorities to set new guidelines for doctors who recommend pot for "severe pain."
When asked about the issue, Gov. Hickenlooper didn't go into any specific action he might take.
The intent of the bill initially was to make the tire requirements mandatory, but sponsors of the legislation couldn't get enough support.
