The popular and controversial troll sculpture from Breckenridge’s arts festival will be reconstructed on a new site away from neighborhoods.
The mountain resort town thanked troll enthusiasts for their passion and patience.
Update: The town said they are "in communication with the artist in terms of safely de-installing and storing the artwork with the possibility of a reinstall at a new location."
Danish artist Thomas Dambo is known for his troll sculptures and this is the first troll he’s installed in the western part of the U.S.
It’s up to cities and towns across the state to make individual decision about fire danger.
“Interphase” was created for the third annual WAVE, an art festival that runs Thursday through Sunday in downtown Breckenridge.
Town council passed a similar resolution in August, stating the town's commitment to having all town facilities powered by renewable resources by 2025.
