Campus Sexual Assault: Proposed Measure Could Clarify Reporting Rules

When she was a student at the University of Denver in 2015, Jess Davidson was sexually assaulted by another student. She tells Colorado Matters it ended up taking her more than a year to report the incident to the school, and she thinks Colorado's colleges and universities need to be more clear about their rules around reporting assaults. She's supporting a bill in the state legislature she hopes will help future victims. Davidson's now with the group End Rape on Campus, which is based in Washington, D.C.
