Nobel-prize winning physicist Carl Wieman says everybody can learn to do science and math well but he says not enough Americans are. Wieman teaches at CU-Boulder. He’s been on a crusade to improve math and science education. Wieman is taking that cause to Washington D.C. where he’s joined the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy. Wieman has a long list of duties there but, one of his priorities is to make education in science classrooms more hands on.
