Computers Find Sacred Sites

Rocky Mountain National Park is dotted with religious sites left by Native Americans who lived there a thousand years ago. Anthropologists have verified three dozen of the sites so far.
Now, they’re using computer modeling to predict where more might be. The system got its first test last month -- and it worked. Anthropologist Bob Brunswig of the University of Northern Colorado studies sacred sites in the park. He speaks with Ryan Warner.
