Denver Band Tennis Broadens Sound on New Album

Listen Now

Critics were wild about Cape Dory, the first album by Denver band Tennis. The disc came with an irresistible back story: newlyweds Patrick Riley and Alaina Moore buy a sailboat, go on an adventure, write songs about the trip, and make a record. Tennis spent much of the last year touring and winning new fans, but they took a two-week break to record their second album, Young & Old, which was produced by Patrick Carney, drummer for the Black Keys. Moore talks about it with Ryan Warner.
