Colorado Springs Republican U.S. Rep. Doug Lamborn raised eyebrows last week when he said, “Let's take the step of allowing marijuana to be available to researchers. Now whether we go beyond that, I’m not sure I can support going beyond that.”

Reporter Matt Laslo, who covers Congress for the Atlantic, Vice and Rolling Stone broke that story for CPR News. He took the pulse of Colorado's congressional delegation on pot now that U.S. Attorney General Jeff Sessions is pushing for stronger federal pushback on states that already have legalized recreational marijuana, including Colorado.
