Here’s a little known fact about where we live: Colorado produces more millet  than any other state. Tim Larsen is with the state's department of agriculture. He has made promoting the grain his pet project. There’s no real millet association here. And there’s no clever millet slogan, like “Pork: The Other White Meat” or “Beef: It’s What’s for Dinner.” Maybe that’s why millet is best known as an ingredient in bird feed. Ryan Warner talks with Larsen and gets recipe ideas from Colorado State University graduate student Twila Henley.
