Mysteries Remain in Murder of State Prison Chief

It's been nearly two months since Colorado's prison chief, Tom Clements, was murdered at his home in Monument. Evan Ebel, the man authorities believe was the killer, was shot by police in Texas but police haven’t determined a motive. The case has involved many twists and turns and offers an inside look at state prisons and the inmates who live there. The investigation currently involves a prison gang, a wealthy Saudi inmate, and inmates who may be being released too early due to mistakes on their records. CPR's Andrea Dukakis, who covers the criminal justic system, speaks with Ryan Warner.
