SKYDEX is a Centennial business that makes a sort of high-tech foam. A decade ago, the company’s shock-resistant product had one use: cushioning the heels of Nike running shoes. Turns out the same material that make running more comfortable can also protect troops. SKYDEX just signed new deals to put its blast-resistant invention into the floors of thousands more military vehicles. Ryan Warner speaks with the company's CEO, Mike Buchen.
