Supporters of Andrew Romanoff received an e-mail invitation recently to celebrate the former candidate’s 44th birthday, which is today. The party’s Thursday at campaign headquarters. Guests are asked to bring a specific gift - cash. Romanoff has roughly 380,000 dollars in campaign debt to retire after losing to Michael Bennet in the Democratic primary for U.S. Senate. That figure includes money Romanoff loaned his own campaign after selling his house. On the Republican side, Senate candidate Jane Norton will have bills to pay, as well.
