In Congress these days, it’s all about money. A recent budget deal prevented a government shut-down. Lawmakers will soon have to decide whether to raise the debt ceiling and consider competing plans to get future spending under control. Tomorrow, we’ll hear from the senior member of Colorado’s congressional delegation, Denver Democrat Diana DeGette. Today, it’s freshman Republican Cory Gardner, from northeastern Colorado, who voted against the budget deal that prevented a shutdown because, he says, there was more spending it should have cut.
