On this new year’s day, we’re listening to some of the best of 2012. In the spring we spoke with Gustavo Arellano about his book, Taco USA: How Mexican Food Conquered America. The book explores our national love affair with tacos, burritos, and tamales. And Denver, he says, is home to the dish that best represents the Mexican-American experience. Arellano is editor of the Orange County Weekly and writes the syndicated "Ask a Mexican" column that appears in Westword.
