Listen Now

One of the most indelible images from the 2011 Arab Spring is that of protesters gathered in Cairo’s Tahrir Square. The mass demonstrations led to the resignation of Egyptian president Hosni Mubarak. Those events inspired the Denver alternative hip-hop band Flobots to write the title song for their new album, Circle in the Square. Flobots emcees Stephen Brackett and Jamie Laurie, who go by Brer Rabbit and Jonny 5, join Ryan Warner in the studio to talk about the album.
