What would lead a childhood classical violinist to devote her life to music and become a beat-heavy, soulful one-woman-band phenomenon?  Emily Wells could tell you. Touring with just her dog and a plethora of instruments (ranging from toy piano to drums to, of course, violin), Emily paid OpenAir a visit before her recent show in Boulder.

She sat down and chatted with Afternoon Host, Brandee, in the intimate OpenAir studio between three songs. Listen in as they talk about Emily's love for the violin, the songwriting process and Pillowfight, a project she's working on with Dan the Automator. Her sound may surprise you!
