Shady Elders

Shady Elders returned to the CPR Performance Studio this week prior to their EP release show at Larimer Lounge on Friday, Dec. 12.

The Denver band's music combines elements of surf, shoegaze and indie pop that some have described as "cold summer" and Alisha Sweeney dubs "Shoe-breeze."

Whatever the genre, Shady Elders treated us to new tunes from their forthcoming record, including the single "The Night Air." They also spoke with Sweeney about their writing process, working with the Denver-based Holy Underground label and their recent selection as a Red Bull Sound Select artist.
