Fire Danger: Air Pollution

This year's fire season has continued into December, with the Fern Lake fire near Estes Park. It’s been one of the worst seasons on record, with homes destroyed and people displaced. Fire also causes air pollution, which was also bad this year. Scientists say if fires get nastier due to global warming, pollution will be even worse in the future. Christine Wiedinmyer is a scientist at the National Center for Atmospheric Research, or NCAR, in Boulder.
