Governor Talks Policy in Wake of Aurora Shooting

Listen Now

A month after the mass shooting at an Aurora movie theater, Governor John Hickenlooper says his administration is looking at whether the state needs new policies to handle people with mental illness who are potentially violent. In his regular conversation with host Ryan Warner, the governor also discusses the state's lawsuit against Longmont over that city's new oil and gas drilling regulations, his push to streamline water project permitting, and the lasting impact of the Democratic National Convention on Denver.
