Denver’s population is expected to surpass 700,000 next year, as new residents flock to the city. And forecasters say that trend will continue. So where will newcomers to Denver live in five, 10, 20 years? How will they get around? Brad Buchanan, executive director of Denver’s community planning and development office, and Denver City Council Member Rafael Espinoza tell Colorado Matters how the city is grappling with these and other questions as part of a two-year planning effort.
