A live, recorded 90-minute storytelling event exploring identity, displacement, resilience, and the search for belonging in the U.S.

CPR Senior Host Nathan Fernando-Frescas and Founding Executive Director of Refugees + Immigrants United Nga Vương-Sandoval are co-subjects of a conversation that began when Nga asked Nathan of why he changed his name. It unfolded a powerful connection about origin, culture, and identity.

Nathan and Nga will share their experiences about the universal aspects of finding home, preserving heritage, and building connections across differences. Together, they tell a story that only they can tell, one that invites audiences to reflect on their own.

Performances will feature Nguyen Thieu Lion Dancers, acoustic guitarist Javi Gutierrez, and vocalist Sheila Cheste.
