Film crews are traveling across the U.S. to document this country's deep political divisions. They call the project "Postcards From The Great Divide." And they made a stop in Colorado to highlight last year's school board recall vote in Jefferson County. Their short film starts with a question: "Who would spend a million dollars on a school board election?"

Directors Louis Alvarez and Andrew Kolker joined Colorado Matters host Nathan Heffel. They made the documentary for PBS and The Washington Post.
