Denver moms Tracey Tee and Shayna Ferm created the comedy show "The Pump and Dump."

That's a term coined by Denver moms Shayna Ferm and Tracey Tee. They say it's the best way to describe their show "The Pump and Dump." They created it in 2012 and performed the early iterations at a bar in northwest Denver.

Made for mothers who may need a night out without their kids, it features music, comedy, games and "things you always think during the day, but are afraid to say out loud or at a play day with friends," Tee says. "We put it all out there on the stage."

They kick off their 2017 national tour at Comedy Works South at The Landmark in Denver Jan. 18 at 7:30 p.m. On Friday, they announced their Mother's Day Eve show at Denver's Paramount Theatre on May 13.

Ferm and Tee spoke with Colorado Matters host Nathan Heffel.
