According to recent U.S. Census figures, 778,000 Coloradans are without health insurance. First, we hear from Amber Due and Ruth Ann Bohlen, two Coloradans who talk about going without health insurance. Then Ryan Warner hosts a panel discussion, with Pamela Hanes, president and CEO of the Colorado Health Institute, which recently published a report on the uninsured in Colorado; Carrie Curtiss, associate director of the Colorado Consumer Health Initiative, which aims to ensure access to affordable health care for all Coloradans; and Kraig Burleson, CEO of the Inner City Health Center, a clinic in Denver that serves uninsured patients.
